Area: Kitesurfing in Cornwall.
Marazion, located in West Cornwall, near Penzance is a beautiful location featuring a huge shallow bay with the stunning backdrop of St Michael’s Mount.
Whether you prefer directional or twin tip riding, you’ll enjoy the atmospheric vibe at this bay.
Marazion will work on SE to a SW wind. A southerly is pretty much bang on-shore.
At high tide there's little or no beach to launch / land.
Marazion dishes up a combination of chop and waves. The waves can get big, but Marazion is usually a relatively mellow option.
If there's nobody riding here when you arrive it's usually for a good reason. Go careful.
- On street parking
- Picturesque town with cafe's, pubs and shops.
A whacking great wall running the length of the beach, with a road behind it.
Avoid kiting 2 hours either side of high tide.
Getting There & Parking
Parking is on-street right next to the sea wall.
